I believe the best family photos aren’t about perfection, they’re about connection. The snuggles, the belly laughs, the way your toddler plays with your hair, and all the little moments that make your family yours.
I’m Tara, a Northeast Ohio family photographer specializing in outdoor sessions that feel easy and natural. No awkward posing, no stress, just real moments with the people you love most. I photograph families on-location across Northeast Ohio, from Kent to Cleveland and beyond. My sessions take place outdoors, where kids can run free and the moments we capture feel as natural as they do unforgettable.

As a mom of two, I’ve always wanted my kids to have photos that show just how deeply they are loved, their giggles, their quirks, the way they fit perfectly in my arms. That’s what I want to create for you, too.
The best photos aren’t about perfect outfits or perfectly-behaved kids. They’re about love. The real, unfiltered, joyful, messy moments that make your family uniquely yours. That’s why I keep my sessions relaxed and playful. You just be yourselves, and I’ll take care of the rest.
I believe every family deserves to see themselves reflected in joyful, beautiful images. Whether you're a two-mom family, a single dad raising kids, a blended family, or anything in between, you're welcome here.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me lost in a fantasy book (I want to live in a world where dragons exist and I can use magic to clean my house), dreaming of my next concert road trip (playlist at the ready), or taking my dog on long walks while talking to her like she’s a person. I also get caught up in listening to public radio and the occasional spur of the moment craft project.

STEP ONE

Contact me to tell me a bit about your family or headshot needs. Use the contact form here on the website or just send me an email! Please no calls or texts (unless absolutely necessary), my millennial heart can’t take it.
STEP TWO
PLAN & SHOOT
Booking is simple and all handled online. I’ll help with timing, locations, and outfits if you need it. Then we’ll capture your family (or headshots) in a relaxed session with lots of laughter and probably a little bit of chaos.
STEP THREE
ENJOY YOUR PHOTOS!
After the session, I carefully edit your gallery so every image shines while staying true to who you are. Then you’ll get easy online access to download, share, and print your photos so you have these memories you’ll love looking at again and again.
